These plans are for hosting, maintenance and general website care.
They don’t include:
- Major design changes
- New page builds
- Custom development
- SEO strategy or copywriting
- Malware cleanup for already infected sites
- Large plugin conflicts or rebuild work
- Email inbox setup or advanced email troubleshooting
Any extra work outside the plan can be quoted separately or billed at my hourly rate.
FAQs
Do I need hosting and maintenance?
If your website is built in WordPress, yes, it should be maintained regularly. WordPress websites rely on plugins, themes and software updates, and those need to be managed carefully.
Can I keep my current hosting?
Yes. The Website Maintenance plan is for clients who prefer to keep their existing hosting but still want me to maintain the website.
What happens if my website breaks after an update?
If an update causes an issue, basic troubleshooting, rollback or restoration is included as part of the maintenance service. If an update uncovers a larger compatibility issue requiring substantial development work or replacement/reconfiguration of functionality, I would let you know and discuss it with you before carrying out any additional billable work.
Are content changes included?
Small content changes are not included by default unless agreed separately. These can be billed at my hourly rate or added as a custom plan.
What happens if malware is detected?
Security monitoring and regular scans are included. If malware or suspicious activity is detected, I’ll investigate and let you know. Full malware removal isn’t included within the monthly maintenance fee, as the work required can vary significantly depending on the infection. If this were ever required, I would assess the situation and discuss any additional cost with you first.
Can I cancel monthly?
Yes, monthly plans can be cancelled with notice. Annual plans are paid upfront for the year, so those can’t be cancelled.
Do you offer email hosting?
These plans are for website hosting and website care. Email hosting, inbox issues and Microsoft 365/Google Workspace setup are separate services.
