Imagine your brand as a real-life person
Now let’s deep dive into getting to know your brand. For this exercise, I would like you to imagine your brand being a real living breathing person. Imagine what they look like, sound like, dress like. What are their favourite foods, colours, perfumes, etc. Once you have crystalised this image in your hear, continue with the questions below. This is a great exercise to help get clear on how you want your brand to be perceived and how best to communicate it (if your business is a personal brand you can simply describe yourself)
If your brand were a person, which words or phrases would best describe them?
What books or magazines do you/would they read, and what TV shows would they watch?
Which well-known figures or social media profiles would they follow?
Which shops would they frequently shop at?
What actor / actress would you choose to play your brand in a film?
Which terms describe your brand and how you want to be perceived, best?
